Musheer Khan To Travel To Australia With India A Team For 3 Four-Day Tests – Report

Ahead of the India men’s team Test tour of Australia later this year, the India A team will travel Australia for the shadow tour, which will have three four-day Tests.
According to a report in PTI on Monday, Musheer, who won the Player of the Match award in the Duleep Trophy 2024 match last week for scoring 181 runs in the first inning, has impressed everyone and is almost certain to be part of the India A team.

The India A team for the Australia tour will be picked based on the Duleep Trophy performances and the Irani Cup match between the Rest of India and Ranji champions Mumbai, which will be held before the tour of Australia.

Also, the temperament of playing 373 balls (62.1 overs out of 116 overs) has made him stand out, along with how he forged partnership with a tailender, Navdeep Saini.
In the case of Suthar, Ajit Agarkar and his colleagues are looking at slowly making him Axar’s understudy and putting him on regular A tours so that by the time Jadeja is done, he becomes the second left-arm orthodox bowler.
