Reading is fun at PE Primary
The outfits were fantastic and the parade was an exciting, lively way in which to end off the week’s festivities.

Port Edward Primary and Pre-Primary School held a most successful ‘Book Week, Readathon and Rhymathon’ campaign last week.
This campaign tied in with National Book Week and International Literacy Day, as the importance and enjoyment of reading were celebrated through fun, book-themed competitions throughout the week and ending with a dress-up day and parade on Friday the 13th.
Pre-primary learners dressed as nursery rhyme characters, Grade 1-3 learners as Letterland characters and Grade 4-7 learners as their favourite book characters.
